Alexa in 2025: What all did Indians ask the virtual voice assistant this year

Amazon shared what all did Indians ask Alexa from January to November 2025. The virtual voice assistant got most of the requests in English, Hindi, and Hinglish.

Lata Mangeshkar, Shankar Mahadevan, and Kishore Kumar were among the most asked-about Indian artists.

K-Pop artists BTS, Jennie, and Blackpink were among the top musicians Alexa customers asked general information about, alongside other global names like Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, and Michael Jackson.

Viral K-Pop track APT (ROSÉ and Bruno Mars) was among the songs requested most via Alexa and Amazon Music, alongside Shaky (Sanju Rathod & G-SPXRK), Sapphire (Ed Sheeran), Saiyaara (from “Saiyaara”), Sahiba (Aditya Rikhari), and Golden (HUNTR/X, EJAE, AUDREY NUNA, Rei Ami & KPop Demon Hunters Cast).

Arijit Singh, Pritam, Shreya Ghoshal, Bruno Mars, ROSÉ, Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar were among the artists whose songs were most requested via Alexa and Amazon Music.

The most requested podcasts on Alexa include; The Horror Show by Khooni Monday, The Desi Crime Podcast, Finshots Daily, The Ranveer Show, Raj Shamani’s Figuring Out, The Stories of Mahabharata and The Sadhguru Podcast – Of Mystics and Mistakes.

Alexa customers also asked trivia about famous actors, actresses, sports figures, and business leaders. Questions about net worth, spouses, and height were popular for personalities like Virat Kohli, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Salman Khan.

Indians turned to Alexa to know Elon Musk, Mukesh Ambani, Gautam Adani, and Jeff Bezos net worth-related queries.

They also enquired about, Prime Minister of India, Chief Minister of Delhi, President of the United States, along with trivia about geography and population.
